I was pleased that the access upgrade for Edgecliff Railway Station was finally launched today after many years of our community campaigning and advocacy that began with former MP Clover Moore. Being able to get into and out of the station is vital for people with limited mobility to use public transport, and access to the train at Edgecliff connects with buses, the shopping centre and parking stations. There’s a backlog of station upgrades needed to make sure people with disability, with prams and with limited mobility can get out and about.
