The climate crisis is already having impacts, particularly in rural areas. The CSIRO and Bureau of Meteorology summarise key changes for us including increasing temperatures in all seasons, more hot days and warm spells, decreasing winter rainfall, increased intensity of extreme rainfall events, increasing time in drought, rising sea level and increased height of extreme sea-level events, plus harsher fire-weather.
