I have referred my Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill 2023 to an inquiry by the Legislative Assembly's community services committee. The inquiry will look at operational matters with the legislation and additional ways to improve LGBTIQA+ safety and wellbeing.

New South Wales is falling behind in LGBTIQA+ law reform and the NSW Health Strategy identifies poor health outcomes as a result. The committee has an online survey for members of the community to share their views and I encourage you to participate. Responses are due 14 April > HERE
