Following further community transmission including in Potts Point and Surry Hills, the government is now strongly recommending face masks in circumstances where it is not possible to social distance, such as on public transport, in shops, cafés, restaurants, places of worship, pubs and clubs, as well as identified hot spots and caring for vulnerable people.
