In other good news, the NSW government has rejected Mark Latham’s Education Legislation Amendment (Parental Rights) Bill 2020, which would have marginalised LGBTIQA+ students and undermined the ability for teachers and schools to support their education and wellbeing.

It is my hope that with this and Mark Latham’s religious freedoms’ bills buried, New South Wales can now move forward and progress equality for all LGBTIQ+ people so they can live without discrimination and fear, and thrive in our community. > HERE.
