I supported environment groups’ campaign against plans to move logging operations into previously protected old growth forests, speaking and asking questions in Parliament. Last week the Premier agreed to keep these vital biodiversity flora and fauna refuges off limits. More needs to be done to protect habitat for threatened species recovering after the bushfires but this is a great win.
