There is a tenancy moratorium to restrict when landlords can evict tenants due to rental arrears until 11 September.

The government has COVID-19 residential tenancy support payments for landlords who reduce the rent for COVID-19 impacted tenants, capped at the rent reduction passed on to the tenants or $1,500, whichever is lower. Only rent waived from 14 July 2021 onwards can be claimed > HERE.
