Following reports about long delays getting help from the Mental Health Crisis Line 1800 011 511, I’ve asked the Minister for Mental Health to review its operation. One constituent told me that they gave up waiting after 30 minutes on hold – after following menu prompts and struggling with the voice recognition software. You should be able to get prompt help from a crisis phone line.
