There’s a development proposal open for public comment until 15 September for the Metro/Minerva Theatre building in Orwell Street Potts Point > HERE.

The proposal includes a hotel with 63 rooms, a café, two separate performance spaces and nightclub, a restaurant and bar, and a small bar. It needs to comply with heritage requirements.

There’s been a longstanding community campaign to retain and restore the art deco heritage building and return it to use as a theatre > HERE.
