Lord Mayor Clover Moore and I have jointly asked the metropolitan roads minister to coordinate a traffic and transport plan for the Millers Point, Dawes Point and The Rocks precinct. There are several land managers involved and the precinct is a major destination for events and tourism, including Overseas Passenger Terminal cruise ships, VIVID, The Rocks markets and Walsh Bay Arts Precinct.

This is a constricted area that has undergone significant development, there is already significant traffic congestion and light rail gives an opportunity for greater use of public transport. Our letter > HERE.
