We’ve re-established the multi-partisan Parliamentary Friends of the LGBTIQA+ community. MPs across the NSW Parliament and LGBTIQA+ advocates will work together to support the rights, safety, equality and wellbeing of the LGBTIQA+ community.

The group has worked on of same-sex adoption, marriage equality, the extinguishment of prior homosexual convictions, ending the "gay panic defence", the establishment of the special commission of inquiry into LGBT hate crimes, the + Health Strategy, and supporting the NSW bid for Sydney WorldPride 2023.

We know there is more to do and are committed to working together to achieve further LGBTIQA+ reform and progress.
