In Parliament, I called for an independent police complaints system with the resources that are needed to investigate, ensure action for redress and prevent repeat of past problems with police response to gay hate crimes. I’m pleased to see Operation Parabell reviewing suspicious deaths from the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s. My speech is HERE.
