The independent panel on political donation reforms has released its final report. Many recommendations reflect suggestions I made in my submission and at a hearing for partly publicly-funded elections, real-time disclosure of donations, along with national reforms to prevent the transfers between jurisdictions that ICAC has exposed. New laws cannot be introduced until after the election when Parliament sits again.
