No decision has been made about a Pyrmont station on the Metro West line yet and there’s an online survey asking for feedback about a possible station, noting that “new developments around the station precinct could include commercial office spaces, shop fronts, community service and facilities spaces and apartments”. While I support better public transport for Pyrmont, we need to look at where a station is proposed and its impacts. Past proposals would have lost the open space at Union Square.
