Earlier this year I brought a delegation of Pyrmont residents to the transport minister to explain the challenges locals face trying to use public transport to get anywhere. Buses are unreliable and don’t stop where residents need to go and the ferry service was axed. While Pyrmont is close to the city, many people are unable to walk the distance.

In Parliament I asked the minister for an update on progress and I welcome her continued commitment to finding solutions and improving Pyrmont transport through the Pyrmont-Ultimo transport plan which is being developed and which she said will go on exhibition later this year.
