Raise the Age

Raise the Age

The community campaign to raise the age of criminal responsibility is kicking off again in the lead up to the next meeting of federal, state and territory Attorneys-General on 1 December. We don’t allow children to work or vote, but we lock up kids as young as 10. In NSW, children from the age of 10 upwards can be arrested, remanded in custody, convicted by the courts, and detained (generally in juvenile justice facilities. I support the reform campaign and will continue to push for reform in NSW.

You can send a message calling for reform via social media or email > HERE

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
