Salvos Upgrade

Salvos Upgrade

I visited the upgraded accessible bathrooms at the Salvation Army’s William Booth House in Surry Hills, the Community Building Partnerships grant that I supported.

This will improve the alcohol and drug rehabilitation service’s capacity and inclusion.

In Parliament, I thanked Robyn Evans > HERE and Monica Chehab > HERE for their years of service at the Salvo’s Sydney Streetlevel Mission. This vital service helps disadvantaged and homeless people feel welcome, provides basic needs like food and clothing, and supports people to get back on their feet. Both Robyn and Monica made changes to the service to make it more inclusive and treat people with dignity and respect. My Community Recognition Statements acknowledge their contributions.

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
