In response to my questions in Parliament about plans to sell any further inner city social housing, the Minister for Social Housing referred to the Communities Plus plans, which lists the major redevelopment sites at Redfern and Waterloo but nothing in the Sydney electorate. We cannot afford to lose any more low cost homes in the inner city and I’m watching closely to make sure the government keeps the homes we have.
