In response to my questions in Parliament, the transport minister says that Transport for NSW is reviewing speed limits in South Dowling Street between Oxford Street and Flinders Street and considering designating it a ‘High Pedestrian Activity Area’ with lower speed limits.

Meanwhile, Transport for NSW contractors have repeatedly failed to fix the drainage problems in Oxford Street near the corner with South Dowling Street that cause flooding of the footpath and bus stop every time it rains. After numerous requests, I’ve submitted questions to the minister in Parliament to get the problem fixed > HERE.
