The government has rezoned land adjacent to Central Railway Station and is proceeding with planning controls to develop a ‘technology and innovation precinct’, changing the Sydney Local Environment Plan to allow higher buildings and massive increases in floor space for commercial, retail and hotel use. Rezoning will allow Atlassian’s new headquarters and a joint Dexus and Frasers redevelopment.
