Earlier this year, the government reneged on a promised new Ultimo Public school for 1,000 students, with childcare and community facilities included. The new plan will see a smaller high-rise school built on the current site, which will displace students and not address long term needs. Together with the Member for Balmain Jamie Parker, I’m supporting the community campaign for a proper new school for the future.
