Westconnex Campaign

Westconnex Campaign

26 April 2016

The NSW government has approved its proposal for a massive spaghetti road junction at St Peters as part of the Westconnex Motorway, despite almost 13,000 submissions raising concerns. The major interchange, road upgrades and ventilation stacks – adjacent to Sydney Park and thousands of residents – will breach air quality standards proposed by COAG in 2012.

While the project is not in the Sydney electorate, it will funnel massive amounts of traffic into the inner city and CBD and will take funds from public transport. I encourage you to link up with the community campaign against the network of toll roads and in favour of public transport, HERE.

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
