Independent assessment shows the Westconnex project does not take account of new freight needs when Badgerys Creek airport is operating, does not fund vital linking roads to Sydney Airport and Port Botany, won’t contribute to urban renewal along Parramatta Road and does not align with the government’s multi-centre strategy in its ‘Plan for Growing Sydney’ long term plan.
