World Congress of Families: Kevin Andrews urged to cancel

MINISTER for Social Services Kevin Andrews has refused to cancel his planned attendance at a conference which has been linked to harassment, prosecution and murder of gay people worldwide.
Mr Andrews will open the World Congress of Families, which is dedicated to fighting the decriminalisation of abortion and homosexuality, and to defending the ‘natural family’, in Melbourne this weekend.
Sydney MP Alex Greenwich has today sent a letter to Mr Andrews, asking him to cancel on the conference.
