I’m inspired by the young people who’ve taken part in the YMCA Youth Parliaments, which are apolitical programs for young people to learn about and practice legislative debate and decision making. Participants create bills and debate them in the NSW Parliament House in front of real MPs like me. A young person from each NSW electorate is selected to attend a training camp in April and a residential camp in July. Applications close 1 March. Details: HERE
