Proposals by City of Sydney Councillor Christine Forster to shrink the City of Sydney to the CBD only are another desperate attempt at gerrymander. Extracting the vast majority of residents to other councils and governing only for ‘business needs’ could leave the city a characterless concrete jungle. The message on councils has been ‘bigger is better’ - except when it gives the party a chance to win. My media release is HERE.
